Optical fiber filling gel is a white translucent paste, which consists of base oil, inorganic filler, thickener, regulator, antioxidant, etc., heated in a certain proportion and homogenized in a reaction kettle , and then colloid grinding, cooling and degassing.

For outdoor optical cable, in order to prevent water and moisture from reducing the strength of the optical fiber and increasing the transmission loss which affects the communication quality, it is necessary to fill the loose tube of the optical cable with water-blocking materials such as optical fiber filling gel to achieve the effect of sealing and waterproofing, anti-stress buffering, and protecting the optical fiber. The quality of the optical fiber filling gel directly affects the stability of the optical fiber transmission performance and the life of optical cable.

We can provide various types of fiber filling gel, mainly including ordinary optical fiber filling gel (suitable for filling around optical fibers in ordinary loose tube), filling gel for optical fiber ribbons (suitable for filling around optical fiber ribbons), hydrogen-absorbing optical fiber gel (suitable for filling around the optical fiber gell in metal tube) etc,.

The optical fiber gel provided by our company has good chemical stability, temperature stability, water-repellent, thixotropy, minimal hydrogen evolution, less bubbles, good compatibility with optical fibers and loose tubes, and is non-toxic and harmless to humans.

Mainly used for filling in plastic loose tubes and metal loose tubes of outdoor loose-tube optical cable, OPGW optical cable and other products.

 

Optical fiber filling gel is available in two packaging types.
1) 170kg/drum
2) 800kg/IBC tank

1) The product should be kept in a clean, hygienic, dry and ventilated storehouse.
2) The product should be kept away from heat sources, should not be stacked together with flammable products and should not be close to fire sources.
3) The product should avoid direct sunlight and rain.
4) The product should be packed completely to avoid moisture and pollution.
5) The storage period of the product at ordinary temperature is 3 years from the date of production.
